Stop the Bleed training was recently held for administrators, staff, and teachers at Sumter County Primary School by Chris Holloway, Robert Burns, and Brad Eubanks of the Americus Fire and Emergency Services. The training is funded across the state by the Trauma Commission. It included how to stop an arterial bleed by using a tourniquet and packing a wound. They presented twelve Stop the Bleed kits to be housed on campus.
