I was born in Irving, Texas, where I lived until the age of seven. My family then moved to Donalsonville, Georgia. I lived there throughout my school years and graduated from Seminole County High School as an Honor Graduate. I was also very involved in my youth group at Friendship Methodist Church.
After graduation, I attended Bainbridge College (AS Degreee), Valdosta State College (BS Degree), and Georgia Southwestern (Masters). Shortly after, I moved to Americus and began teaching at Sumter County Elementary until the Primary School was built. Now I am excited to be a part of the Early Learning Center.
I have been married for 23 years and have three children. My oldest is a Junior at Georgia Southern. I also have a high school Junior and a 6th grader. We are very active at First United Methodist Church.
