PUMPKINS IN PRE-K

PUMPKINS IN PRE-K

Pre-K students at Sumter County Primary School in Mrs. Cynthia Bittle and Ms. Laquinitha Williams’ class were scientist.  The students carved the pumpkins and dug the seeds and the guts out.  They also discussed how the inside of the pumpkin felt and agreed it was wet and slimy. The next day the students put on their safety glasses and did an experiment by mixing baking soda and vinegar to make a pumpkin volcano.
