Sumter County Schools recognizes individuals throughout the year at the Board of Education meetings. At the January meeting a teacher, paraprofessional, custodian, parent, and student from Sumter County Primary School were acknowledged for their hard work, dedication, and caring nature. SCPS principal, Dr. April Smith, introduced and read a short description of each person. They each received a certificate from the Board of Education and a certificate and $25.00 gift card to Wal-Mart from SCPS. Sumter County Primary School is honored to have these individuals on staff, attending, and volunteering.
