Recently kindergarten and first grade students at Sumter County Primary School participated in the Magnolia District Garden Club 2018-2019 “Pop Goes the Seed” Poetry Contest. The students wrote poems about the importance of planting seeds to preserve the planet. Students were able to showcase their creativity through the art of writing. The following students had winning poems: First Grade – 1st Place Ayden Hightower and 2nd Place India English both in Mrs. Yvonne Iverson’s class.
