Sumter County Primary School recently held its January Family Engagement Math & Technology Night. Students and their families were invited to come and explore exciting math games both hands on and on the iPad. Teachers set up stations where students could practice with pattern blocks, karate math, number lines, weight, as well as a variety of math apps. Door prizes were also given away throughout the evening. Through the activities, parents learned ways to help with math at home as well as see what students do in the classroom during the day.
