I graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.

I taught preschool in the private school sector for twelve years before going to college.  After college, I taught 4th grade for one year at Schley County Elementary School.  In 2011, I came to work at Sarah Cobb as a 2nd grade EIP teacher.  For the past two years, I have taught Reading and English Language Arts (ELA) in 2nd grade.

I have been married for twenty-six years.  I have two children, a daughter, twenty-five and a son, twenty.  I moved to Americus in 1991 and lived there for ten years before moving to Ellaville.
