I was born and raised in Americus, GA. I attended Sumter County Schools from 3rd to 12th grade. I started my college journey at Kennesaw State with hopes of being a Radiologist. I moved to Athens Tech the next year to pursue Radionlogy Tech. I realized that I was not my calling and took a year off. During that year I worked at FBC Preschool and took a trip to Thailand! The next year I began my journey at GSW in the Early Childhood department. I have a special needs brother and worked at a camp for people with special needs one summer and changed my major to Special Education as soon as school started that next year! I married my best friend June 23, 2012 and we are expecting our first child at the end of September. We attend First Baptist Church in Americus.  I love my job and coming to work each day! My students teach me far more than I teach them!
